The Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE), through its Bureau of Employment Promotion and Welfare (BEPW), successfully conducted the Orientation and Capacity Development Training of Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Managers and their Personnel on Feb. 4-5 at several municipalities in Special Geographic Area (SGA). The activity aimed to enhance the capacity of PESO managers and their personnel by providing them with strategies necessary for the effective implementation of labor and employment programs at the local level. The orientations were led by BEPW Director Sara Jane Sinsuat. On Feb. 4, local government unit (LGU) representatives and employees from Old Kaabakan and Kapalawan, including PESO managers, municipal administrators and councilors, department heads, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, and Office of the Mayor secretaries and staff, convened for the event. On Feb. 5, similar sessions were held in Kadayangan and Nabalawag. The two-day activity marked a significant step toward strengthening coordination among stakeholders and reaffirming the LGU’s commitment to supporting employment promotion and welfare initiatives.
